2011 Preseason Rankings

ESPN has us at number 10 for their preseason rankings.

What do you guys thinks of this?

Given that 5 players, several of whom are significant contributors, will be missing from a 5 game stretch that includes MSU and newly inducted B1G member Nebraska - I'd say getting a top ten rating is not unreasonable.

I think the big reason for this is because the "Tat 5". Alot of people are gonna expect us to lose @Miami and vs MSU. On paper we're losing alot of starters and like I said before the tat 5 for 5. But we do have tons of young talent just waiting to play. If we win games we will move up. Look at Oregon and Auburn, Im not sure what theyre pre-season ranks were, but I know they werent high.

We had quite a few young guys on the 2002 starting lineup too, I'm not worried about it. I think we'll have a pretty darn good season next year.

Same. Not worried one but, just excited about all the young players.

I am excited as well, the '11 and '12 are both very good classes coming in, look out.

They might be better think I think they will be (i. e. losing record in conference play).

10 would be kind of nice actually. Being able to start the season without a target on our backs is a nice thing.
