Congrats to Julio Jones on becoming the newest member of the Atlanta Falcons.

The Browns are kinda stupid for trading, but I don't mind. They will most likely be getting fairly late picks next year.

i disagree with the stupid part...the falcons gave away a good chunk of draft picks for julio jones who is arguably not worth a top 10 selection

Exactly. Let's look at the whole thing so far: The Browns moved down 15 spots to take a guy they feel can help in the trenches (something people have been screaming for for the better part of a decade). For their trouble they basically netted a future first-rounder, two fourth-rounders and moved their high third-rounder this year up to a low second-rounder.

That's very arguable IMO. When it came to Julio Jones and AJ Green, I saw two amazingly similar prospects. I would not have been disappointed to see the Bengals draft either player because of that reason. Two quality WR's.

what the [censored] is with the insane reaches for QB in this draft so far? teams that desperate?

Given the lockout, and all that's ensued, I think teams panicked a bit when reaching for players like Ponder at 12.

EDIT: And Gabbert at 10, for that matter... Jags giving up on Gerrard? I've been impressed by him on an otherwise unimpressive team.
