2011 NCAA Tournament Projections/Bracketology

I like the idea of retired coaches on the committee. Guys like John Thompson, Bobby Knight and Dean Smith would be better judges of the teams than administrators.

Of course Dookie V would want Jay "EVERYBODY LOOK I WENT TO DUKE" Bilas to be the commissioner of the NCAA Basketball.

Vitale can fuck off and die but Bilas is more than fair. They could do far worse than make him the basketball czar.

I like Bilas. He's far less a Duke homer than Dookie V, which is pretty hilarious.

Why is it every fucking year we have to listen to the talking heads bitch and moan about the bubble teams that get in or out? Does it really matter if Colorado, Virginia Tech, UAB or VCU gets into tournament to get bounced in the first or second round? Why not discuss the teams that are actually there?
Because some of those kids deserve the chance to play in the tournament. To get shafted by teams who clearly have an inferior resume is pretty shitty. Put tOSU in Colorado's place...you'd be pretty pissed too.

You guys are missing the point.

I said of course Dookie V would want a known DUKE BASKETBALL PLAYER to be the czar of NCAA Basketball.

Bilas is one of the best in the business. Not sure what you've seen to think he aligns himself so blatantly to Duke. I think he's always pretty fair and impartial.

I got the point. I also know you softened it after we questioned you on it. Your original statement was a not so thinly veiled shot at Bilas, too.

Don't get me wrong, I see the point of discussing it, but every year it's the same thing. ESPN is now 20 minutes into their show and have done nothing but talk about who is NOT in the tournament. I enjoyed our run in the 2007 NIT more than I did getting beat by Sienna in the first game.

Florida as a 2 seed surprises me a bit. Southeast looking like the soft region, with BYU as the 3 seed as well.

That's because we have to travel all the way to play at unfriendly Tampa.

Makes. No. Sense. But I'll take it.

Now, send me all the Sparty tape :p

It wasn't much of a shot at Bilas as it was to Duke. But yes I do think Bilas is aligned to Duke a bit much, IMO. But its just my opinion of one man, others have their opinions tho.

Now that I've had time to look it up East region has:

B10, ACC and Pac 10 regular season champs as well as the SEC tournament Champs. That's 4 of the Big 6 accounted for in 1 bracket.

For our mid major champs we have the A10, Colonial and Ivy league teams.

Also as per the last AP poll you have #1, #6, #11, #15, #18 and #20.

I'm not going to do that for every bracket but it sure seems loaded to me.
