2011 Men's Basketball Conf. Tournaments

Pretty much all of these early evening games have been stinkers. Here's hoping for a more exciting set of late games.

Watching Texas AM versus Mizzou largely because I like the Brent-Knight broadcasting team. Tigers down 10 early. I hope they make a game of it.

Ball State led at halftime but Ohio has taken over in the second half. The Bobcats lead by 9 with 6 minutes left, and would face Kent State tomorrow if they hold on for the win.

Ball State scores the last 9 points of regulation to force OT. Ohio took a page from Oklahoma State's playbook, dribbling away the time then firing up a tough last shot. FAIL.

UD takes out Xavier in the A-10 tourney. I had wanted to see that one - came at a bad time though.

St Joes took out Duquesne 93-90 in OT, Joes only won 4 A10 games in the regular season and advances to the semi finals to play Dayton tomorrow afternoon

and in the SWAC...12-20 Grambling advances to the final after beating #2 seed Jackson State in OT

I have 2 games on TV (the CU-KU broadcast w/ Knight/Musberger and the Sparty-Purdue game on BTN w/ Gus Johnson) with sound, and 3 games on ESPN3.com (UConn-Syracuse, Duke-Maryland, Tenn-Florida) all on mute.

God I love working from home in March.

Oh yeah, BYU up 71-65, too.

edit: lol, make that 50 and BYU up 11 now. wow.

I guess Jimmer was determined to NOT lose 3 times versus New Mexico, finishing with 52 points. He now gets San Diego State, who I suspect will be equally determined to NOT lose 3 times to BYU.
