I was fairly young when Tupa was kicking and throwing for Ohio State. I remember rooting for him like crazy, but thinking he was not the same QB Tomczak was. However, I was too young to realize Buckeye Nation didn't treat him well. Can you explain? Was it Steve Bellisari-like? IMHO, he was treated horribly. It is completely uncalled for and classless to ridicule a QB as brutally as he was.

I'm sure I was at the game, but I don't remember it. But he was supposedly boo'd when they announced him on senior day.

Andy Groom is one of my favorite all time Buckeyes. I went into a little carry-out while working construction one day. Apparently it's owned by the Groom family. Bought an autographed tOSU hat. I was way too excited to have a punter's autograph. :lol:
