Hows everyone feeling about their draft so far?

I feel good, my only truly proven guys is Fuller and Geno Smith somewhat, the rest are based on "potential". 5/6 position players so far are KR or PR too, so that's an added bonus as long as they stay back there (and don't get hurt). Overall I think there was a cream of the crop of proven RB's and WR's, QB's are pretty deep, TE is a coin flip IMO, and there are no amazingly dominant defenses to rush on one.

3 titles in 4 years???? :)

Feeling pretty good about my draft, especially since so many from my previous team were drafted by myself or others.

QB Thomas, WR Blackmon and TE Egnew are all the cream of the crop, with Ballard and Austin as two proven, steady focal points of their offense, with upside for Austin to explode higher under the new system. Randle is a very safe "potential" guy, going for double figures in half of the contests thanks to so many receptions. Even if his carries are shared a bit he should still be quite productive.

Ford is my first risky pick, but he has all the tools to be the next top back in that system which has been a poor man's Wisconsin for RBs.

I really wanted Malcolm Brown on potential with my next pick but that Texas OL has been so mediocre for so long, and Whittaker/Johnson are still there.

I agree with Starbucks about the dropoff after the top guys at WR and RB. QB is deeper, but ironically the position has really handcuffed the WR position with doubts about consistency, childs, kearse, etc.

I think leroy might have my favorite squad besides mine:

QB Persa - top guy if healthy
RB Ball - easy pts
RB Burkhead - my least favorite pick but good system
RB Wood - will he take the next step with Allen gone? Could be a strong RB2 or a spot starter
WR Floyd - superstar that will be back unless someone else removes him for Kelly, who clearly has no interest in doing so
WR Childs - another top guy if he rebounds from injury
WR Stills - great system and talent, needs a few more TDs. Like Burkhead, I like leroys
Third selection at the position better.
D - VA tech - I don't like reaching for defenses, but they were starting to come off the board

Just as I draft Lamar Miller, my boy who's a huge Canes fan told me he didn't think it would be a good pick because of a weak line... took him 10 minutes to respond to my text and I didn't wait... oh well.

I'm pretty happy with my draft so far (then again, aren't people always happy with their drafts until the season starts?).

I think I got a steal with Gilbert at QB in the sixth and I just grabbed Glennon for my backup who is in a system that threw the ball over 500 times last season.

I'm also happy with a solid group of proven 1000 yard running backs, I hope that they will carry my team in a year where RBs are thin.

Finally, I really liked Marc Tyler in the 7th. He only had 930 yards last season, but the #2 and #3 backs and their 163 carries are no longer with the team.

Not even close. He'll fold against tougher B1G pass defenses. Plus his team has Ball, and White.
He plays 2 maybe 3 good secondaries and he's my backup. When Wilson is dealing with it in Columbus, Darron Thomas is facing the hapless Wazzu D, who have enough firepower on O to keep Thomas from an early exit.

Ps we said the same thing about newton against better defenses.

I'm not talking bad about your pick, just that he won't be Cam. Do you think ACC pass defenses are better than the Big Tens?

Edit: I checked and he B1G has the edge in top 50 pass yard defenses, but the ACC has the edge in top 50 passing efficiency Def. I think Wilson is good but he won't have to be Cam.
