2011 Big Ten Tournament, March 10-13

The lowest scoring game in the history of the BTT, and they said it wasn't even close!

Paging BB73, paging BB73...

Before this year, the previous game with the lowest total score in the BTT was a 49-40 win for #8 seeded TSUN over #9 Minny in the 2007 opening round.

Does anyone remember the other epic low-scoring game that PSU won recently? That was their win in '09 at Illinois, a 38-33 snoozefest.

God, the Big Ten can't get rid of Ed DeChellis soon enough.

On the bright side, with the only other teams in the conference who finished above .500 in league play both eliminated today, all OSU has to do now is beat a pair of teams that finished 9-9 in the Big Ten in order to win the conference tournament - easier said than done, I'm sure.
