2011 Arizona State Sun Devils Baseball

ASU has been doing OK. Took 2 out of 3 from UofA this weekend and split a weekday series with Cal State Fullerton last week.

Usually ASU has 1 or 2 outstanding players that just light up the stat sheet, but they really don't have any this year. Just a bunch of good guys, but no Dustin Pedroia's this year.

I actually hope ASU gets their post-season ban upheld so they have to take the penalty this year instead of delaying it until next year when I believe they should be better.

Didn't know you played Akron

Actually, 2 of 3 from my Wildcats has to feel good.

The #4 ranked Sun Devils are 18-5 on the season.

Regarding Cory Hahn, whose injury reag detailed in this thread, the Sun Devils will have a special tribute to him for the rest of the season:

As a tribute to injured Sun Devil Cory Hahn, the team will wear special wristbands with Cory's name and #34 and also has had his number embroidered on the team's stirrups. Players will also wear his initials and number on their hats. The entire team visited Hahn on Monday on their trip to Fullerton
