If by "exited", you mean leaving the stadium with their heads hanging in sadness, yes.

Like I said, Black has been on UM's wishlist for a year. They were ecstatic that they finally got him to visit. There is genuine belief inside Schembechler Hall (firsthand from my conversation with someone who works there and has semi-regular contact with coaches) that they have the next Brandon Graham in Jibreel Black.

You know. I was going to say he reminded me of BG in that highlight reel but I didn't want to sound to presumptuous. But, if there are those closely associated with the football program saying it, that makes me even more glad we landed him!

Yea, because those "closely associated with the [Michigan] football program" have been such incredible talent evaluators thus far! :tongue2:

The really funny part is the next Brandon Graham is not "another Brandon Graham". If they had more than one good player on the roster at a time their program might be able to take the next step... to tenth place.

Are scUM fans serious with this [censored]?

"Remember when I said that if Suh was being considered for the Heisman that BG should be too? I still think that he was one of the best players in the country last year and I'm trying as hard to not be a homer as possible".

Graham Under Armour Senior Bowl MVP | mgoblog

Think how good that defense will be next year, though, now that he's gone.

I actually agree with the Wolverine fans on this one; Brandon Graham was one of the best players in the country.

That only underscores how much the rest of the Michigan defense sucked, of course. :slappy:

Graham was no suh, but he had an outstanding year.

What made it even more incredible was the scenario in which he did it.

Teams never had to account for another rusher opposite or alongside him. Ezeh? Brown? Mouton? Kovacs? Or a 175 lb corner blitz? To be that dominant was something else, given the attention and double/triple teams he faced. But that wasn't the hardest part.

He knew - at least subconsciously - that no matter how dominant he was, the other defenders would miss tackles, blow assignments, or worse yet... The offense would make careless mistakes moving backwards or giving field position or possession back to their opponent after the d got them off the field.

NFL teams have to love his resolve and work ethic in that demoralizing situation.

And no, black isn't in the same galaxy as graham. Let me know when black turns in a scorching 100m time.
