2010 TSUN offseason arguments & shenanigans

RR is ahead of the curve, but not in the way you suggest.

He is plugged in to a proposed rules change that will require only 3 men on the Line of Scrimmage.

The 3-3-5 is his new offense.

Troy Woolfolk, the Michigan football team's most experienced defensive back and most colorful storyteller, did not play in Saturday's spring game because of a broken right pinky finger.

...

Nasty enough to make Woolfolk cry?

"I?m going to introduce you all to something," Woolfolk said. "Y?all know me, myself, Troy, but I have a split personality named T-Wolf. When I?m on the field, T-Wolf comes out. T-Wolf doesn?t know how to cry, that?s only a trait that Troy does. Right now, this is Troy. T-Wolf, he?s crazy and I can?t bring him out all the time, I only let him come out on the field. T-Wolf doesn?t have that ability to cry, so that would never happen."

Would Troy have cried if the injury happened to him instead of T-Wolf?

"If it would have happened to Troy, he would have cried, I?m not going to lie. Troy would have cried," Woolfolk said. "You can ask the people. I was mad because they were rushing up to me trying to touch it, and I don?t want nobody to touch my bone sticking out. I was about to punch them with my other hand, but I had to calm T-Wolf down."

Can it really get any worse....just when you think things have hit rock bottom for Michigan, we now get T-Wolf. It's just never-ending. What did Michigan do to deserve this embarrasment??

I mean really, I hate Michigan as much as anyone here. But if we get to see this mess every 50 years it's alomst worth it. A hill-jack from West Virginia that has set them back about 10 years. He may put them on probation for the first time in foootball history. They accepted a recruit who didn't technically graduate high school. They have a QB who's family has created a website, but they refuse to use proper punctuation or write coherent sentences. The lawyer for D-Rod compares his contract at WVU to a slave trying to buy his freedom from a slave-owner. D-Rod is involved in multiple law-suits off the playing field for shady real-estate deals.

I mean...just ridiculousness. And it continues to get better. Michigan now has Michael J. fox on their roster. Who knew???

Can I get an objective opinion from Buckeye fans on former Michigan DE Brandon Grahm? I understand he's largely considered to the Falcons top pick at #19 in the upcoming draft - but I don't remember him standing out in the limited UM games I watched this year.

Is he as disruptive as they say? Leading the nation in tackles behind the line of scrimmage is damn impressive.

Thanks! :)

Seriously? He was a force all year long despite playing on a defense without a single other impact player. They double and triple teamed him and he still found his way to the quarterback. The pass rusher opposite him was a frail true freshman, and the LBs were very weak. The "best" blitzing safety was a freshman walkon with mediocre size and speed.

Teams ran away from him all year long because running at him was not an option.

He has a good set of moves, but his best attribute is his strength. He is a very good pass rusher but an outstanding run stuffer. His measurables didn't stop him from having a dynamite season.

He was the 1 great player on their defense. Without him, they may not have won a game.

To be fair - the only two games I watched were the Ohio State and Notre Dame games. So I probably missed alot of what he can do. His stats against Ohio State are quite impressive: 7 tackles, 5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks.

This is with little help on defense and the Buckeyes significantly outclassing the Wolverines at most positions. Seems like a gamer (if a bit undersized), if we get him, we'll see what he can do opposite John Abraham (hopefully he rips the birthmark off Brees' face!).

Besides strength, Graham's value comes in his consistency and never ending motor. Some of the top DE prospects can make highlight reel plays and then miss or take the next few off. Graham gives 110% every snap.

This isn't the best game I've seen him play, but this is the closest I can find to capturing what he brings on a play by play basis:
