2010 TSUN News offseason (football)

Those mgoblog comments are like an ecapsulation of every form of delusion that permeates M*ch*g*n these days. They're talking about secondary struggles in the past tense, saying that RichRod [censored]ed people off because he worked them harder (failing to see the distinction between working harder and working overtime) and completely forgetting about all the tiny boners they had over Morgan Trent a few years ago to make sure they don't look like they're not quite "all in" for 2010 in front of their friends.

Ladies and gentlemen, it's always a great time to be a M*ch*g*n hater, but right now is especially sweet (and entertaining).

It's pretty unreal that anytime a former UM player trashes RR, it's always the same old story--the player didn't buy in...he was lazy...he liked Carr's country club atmosphere, etc.

Not many college QBs have won an AL Cy Young and have thrown a perfect MLB game. To say nothing of striking out 19 in one game. Yep, say what you want about David Cone, but the guy could pitch.

Kevin McReynolds signs with the Mets. I knew it!

Per Joe Schad on CFB Today, TSUN AD David Brandon said that they would send their self-imposed sanctions to the NCAA next Monday (5/24), and that the documents would be released to the public within 24 hours.

Reports that he said that the documents would be delivered within 30 minutes or that they'd be free are not accurate.

The NCAA could do a pick up too. It's always a little cheaper that way.

After his departure from the business he used to run, they had to completely revamp their primary product and launch a huge public relations campaign to make sure everyone knows they're NOT what they used to be.

Anyone else think that's a taste of things to come?

Michigan to issue response to alleged violations next week

CHICAGO -- Michigan will publicly release its response to NCAA allegations of major rules violations against coach Rich Rodriguez next week.
Athletic director David Brandon says there will be "total transparency" and that any school-imposed sanctions will be revealed in the report, which will be sent to the NCAA on May 24 and made public the following day.

Brandon spoke Monday in Chicago, where he was attending Big Ten meetings this week.

I'm hoping that "total transparency" doesn't include the press conference outfit worn by Mary Sue Coleman.

A non-elitist prick would get dinged for that; a newb would get McNeiled.
