Brian is capable of criticizing the staff without making excuses every time, like RR being given bad advice when he hired a train wreck in DC Scott Shafer (who RR later undermined, held secret meetings with his pals to install his 3-3-5 defense - shafer is a 4-3 guy - before the Purdue game, which went quite well).buckeyesin07;1669238; said:Brian at mgoblog gives Beaver a run for his money on who fires off more of those types of posts.

Brief summary: The only people criticizing Richie for not working harder on Lawrence Thomas are those anti-rr crusaders. Saying that in itself is not what makes this humorous. It's that any criticism of rr leads to Beaver inevitably firing one of these posts off..."it's those damned anti-rr crusaders! They're holding him down! Why can't they see his genius?!?!?"

Re: Lets get behind our awesome coach this year more than ever!
drnlaw wrote: Don't let 'em get to you, tbf10. It's clear even from your very first posts that you're a true Michigan fan in every sense of the phrase, and have the makings of a first-class GBW poster. Hope to see around on a regular basis.Thank you drnlaw. I am a loyal Michigan supporter. I supported Coach carr up until 2003 when the Duel-Threat offenses came about and got frustrated we he refused to move with the times.
I like Coach RR even better and felt like alot of Michigan fans and allums that RR was a GREAT hire..probably the best we could have had. I fully believe this year will be VERY exciting for Michigan football. Our offense will be unstoppable to say the least. our Defense will be much better than last year..not as goo as it needs to be to win the Big Ten but better..
I do think that RR has no AT ALL been given a fair shake as our coach by alot...in fact some wanted to bury him before he even got here because simply they do NOT LIKE the spread offense..They think it is too "GIMMICKY" and prefer the old smash mouth pro-style football..
I love the spread with the dual threat QB and specifically the WVU type with the Pat White type offense. I truly believe alot will be surprised by D-Rob and he will be the starter this year..because two reasons...
A. RR runs the Pat White style spread and NOT THE TEXAS TECH STYLE...
B. D-Rob has a MUCH HIGHER CEILING THAN Tate..Tate in my book has already reached his ceiling which to me will not win the 8 to 9 wins needed. to compete in the Big Ten...
The WVU Pat White spread will work and it will DOMINATE IN THE big ten..mark my words..
This is my opinion...

I agree with you except for Coach BT agrees with me 100% that D-Rob fits this offense better than Tate and has a much better chance to start. Coach said in his article that RR's system requires more of a running Qb than a passing QB which Tate is more of a passer and less of a runner where as D-rob is more of the runner than the passer...This makes complete sense and logic in RR's system. Plus D-Rob has a much stronger and more accurate arm than Pat White did so that erases your point of D-rob not the best fit...
This is what Coach says...I agree 100%...
IMO Tate running this offense will be interesting and exciting at times...
D-Rob running it will be ELECTRIFYING AND AMAZING!!
Denard Robinson is more talented than Pat White. A record breaking yards from scrimmage machine vs. a slot reciever/return man/turnover machine masquerading as a QB. This guy is awesome.Pat White lit up all of College football his second year...D-Rob is much more talented than Pat White ever was...Think about it..It is D-Robs second year...
Oh and If WVU had been in the Big Ten when Pat White was there they would have run the tables..
Odoms won the fastest man competition (yes, better than Denard and Woolfolk).
Patterson was the fastest lineman. He apparently ran a 4.69. Will Campbell and Michael Schofield were close behind.
So has Barwis morphed Odoms into Dexter Jackson? Or is this the same stopwatch that timed Trent at 4.18?supposedly it was a 40, and tay ran a 4.35...barely beating drob
Today is Michigan's junior day in which they call it "The Night of Champions" in which the current Michigan players have a "Olympic" type events. Last year they had ten groups with each position coach in charge of their group. Here is last years write up on the event: MGoBlue Night of Champions -- 2009
Here is a mailbag question we had a few weeks ago about this event: GBMW: Mailbag question: Night of Champions -- 2/28/2010
Cardale is among the 'contd' list. From Michigan:
Brennen Beyer ... Defensive End / Tight End ... Plymouth High School.
Da'Shawn Bell ... Running Back ... Inkster High School.
Dwight Trammer ... Linebacker ... Inkster High School.
...cont'd

All from the same poster:
Holy [censored]. The same Denard Robinson that can't throw the ball more than ten yards without getting picked off? I love GBW.

Also, the head GBW honcho matches his poster's delusions as he continues to predict Braxton Miller and Trey DePriest to the skunkbears. When reality is that bad, I guess it helps to operate in fantasy.
