2010 TSUN News (in-season)

It was pretty obvious you were trying to get a dig in about OSU's struggles vs the SEC and in typical scUM fan fashion you found a way to let arrogance and conceit shine through when your program is an absolute laughing stock.
Or it's one of the only things they can still take pride in.

If you mean OSU struggles with the SEC I don't see how they take pride in that since they have dick to do with it.

If you mean they still take pride in living up to the Arrogant Asses moniker well then I guess it becomes a question of semantics. I don't see how a person takes pride in exhibiting a universally reviled character flaw but then again, I'm not from tsun.

One of the only traditions they have not lost is their dominance over the SEC. I've seen a lot of subtle and not-so-subtle digs at OSU in my time on various UM boards, that didn't look like one to me.

Our Traditions are still there and will always be there regardless of what Michigan does. Anybody can see that Michigan is struggling at the moment.Michigan has struggled before and bounced back.

As for the SEC thing. Every major program is going to be poked at for their flaws. People give us a hard time over Appy State. Even Florida after the capital one bowl. "Well at least we didn't lose to Appy State." I heard that walking out of that bowl game just minutes after Michigan beat them on their own turf. That's just human nature I guess. Michigan fans (not me, maybe when Michigan starts winning again) talk [censored] about Ohio St. even though Ohio St. is killing us at the moment. I knew Ohio St. fans that talked [censored] in the 90s. I remember 97 like it was yesterday. Every fan base will have fans like that regardless of what their program is doing. I could care less who wins the Sugar Bowl to be honest.

if I want all my comments to be over analyzed, I'll talk to my wife:lol:

paranoia has reared it's ugly head with the mere mention of "SEC." Go out and beat Arkansas, end of story.
let me fix that for you.

I wasn't suggesting they were dead, just that UM isn't itself right now, so that's one of the few things to hang your hat on.

Understood, I misinterpreted what you posted. Yes not much to hang the hat on. I'm confident they will get it turned around. It may take awhile, but I'm sure Michigan will be "Michigan" again.

What I'm not clear on is if they were able to poach a WVU Hockey coach is if Michigan would move up and down the ice at will, or if they'd shoot 50 shots from the blue line per game.

Well, one thing we do know is that they would pull their goalie halfway through the first period.

I think we can agree that they'd be undersized and all offensive* players. (* in every sense of the word)
