Will Stoneburner get many balls thrown his way?
Will Fragel stay at TE, or be shifted to the OL?

Tight ends getting passes a Catch-22?

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH
In their annual fight for relevance in the Ohio State offense, tight ends have found nothing that works.
Being big, strong and athletic hasn't been enough - ask Rory Nicol or Jake Ballard.
Getting open and waving their hands in the air? Nice try.
Since 2003, when Ben Hartsock (33) and Ryan Hamby (18) combined for 51 catches, OSU tight ends have averaged 18.5 receptions a season. But this year, maybe - just maybe - Jake Stoneburner has hit on a new, more effective tactic:
Kiss up to the quarterback.
Stoneburner said that after he committed to Ohio State's recruiting class of 2008, he spent time trying to persuade Terrelle Pryor to join him in Columbus.
"We became pretty good friends, and now he kind of looks out for me," Stoneburner said. "He's telling me he's going to get me the ball. I think we've got a little connection - he trusts me out there, and trusts I'm going to catch the ball when he throws it, no matter where I'm at."

We even likely lost a game against tsun, because Hoying didn't see his tight end being wide open, and instead threw an interception into double coverage.
Arriving now at my main point, yes, I am excited about 'Burner.
