2010 OSU Fall Camp (check in on 8/5)

Everyone's favorite: Hoot n Hollar from what looks like the 08 season. Hope we get to see some H&H footage from this camp.[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XIdxk6Kr3gM&feature=rec-exp_fresh+div-1r-5-HM]YouTube - HOOT AND HOLLER = Drill from Ohio State[/ame]

This is as good a place as any for this...

On the BTN preview show, shot at camp last week, Dave Revsine mentioned that the loss to PU last year was the first since 2004 to a team that did not end the season in the BCS. Dave often has really good stats/numbers to throw out, but this one isn't quite right.

USC did not end the season in the BCS last year.

So after 4 straight seasons of losing only to teams that end the season in the BCS, Ohio State lost to non-BCS-participant teams twice last year.

On the plus side, from 2005-2008, Ohio State beat BCS-participants twice (Notre Dame in the '06 Fiesta Bowl and TSUN in the '06 regular season). The Buckeyes had as many victories against BCS-Participants last year as in the previous 4 years combined (Hawkeyes and Ducks).

EDIT: Victory over the Hawkeyes was the first victory over the winner of a BCS game since I don't even know when.

Touche. So it has never happened before.

tOSU is 5-3 in BCS Bowl games, and their record in regular season games against teams that ended up Winning a BCS Bowl that same season is now 1-5.

The only win was against Iowa last year, the losses were at TSUN and hosting Wiscy in '99, at Penn St and hosting Texas in '05, and at USC in '08.

I meant never other than Iowa which DBB mentioned in his post.

06 Season. Brandon Mitchell #32 in there first as the starting safety. You can see Zwick's #12 and Troy's #10 handing the ball off in there too. Beanie is beasting it as a freshmen (which is why he was up later in the drill)

Ohio State beat 5, ten or more win teams last year in Navy (10-4), Wisky (10-3), Penn State (11-2), Iowa (11-2), and Oregon (10-3), which had never been done in school history, Big Ten history, and college football history. I'll ride that into 2010.

Brian Grease thinks the bucks will go 9-3 this year, losing to Miami, Wisconsin, and Iowa. What a crock.

I could see losing to Iowa or possibly Wisconsin. But Miami will not win in Columbus, mark my words.

Come to think of it, I think that Iowa will probably underachieve this year, they are good at that kind of thing when they are a favorite. The same can be said for Wisky.

Grease doesn't know his ass from a hole in the wall.

I couldn't take the SEC promotion so I stopped watching "College Football Live" a long time ago (hearing that Erin Andrews is hosting reinforces my decision), but was it Bob or Brian Griese that predicted it?

I'm thinking it was Brian, but don't know.

Bob may not have wanted to miss the Early Bird at he Sizzler to tape the show.
