2010 Ohio State Spring Game (Apr 24, 1 ET, BTN)

The most surprising thing about this to me (so far anyway) is how late the Will LB position was opened. The Scarlet team already had Ross Homan, so they didn't really have a need there; but for the Grey team, they were left with Dorian Bell or Jim Hastings. Rather than jump on Dorian Bell, Gray opened 5 other positions (Center, Safety, WR, DE, and SAM LB) before the Scarlet team opened the Will position.

Did they really think there's a bigger difference between Nate Oliver (over!) Ohrian Johnson at Safety than between Bell and Hastings at Will?

In case you're wondering, Hastings is a 205 lb Mechanical Engineering major.

Scarlet made a mistake in opening Mike LB, they should of went RB instead since they already had Holman. They let the Grey team get Saine, Herron, and Berry.

As Homan is the starter at Will, I'm not convinced they should HAVE opened TB instead. The choice there was between Boom and Jordan, and maybe they thought there was a bigger difference between Klein and Whiting.

Any predictions for a crowd turn out?

95,000.

Saturday
Showers and thunderstorms likely. Highs in the lower 70s. Lows in the lower 50s. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Might drop the attendance a little

if it rains like the forecast says then im going for 77,000

I doubt that attendance will even be that high. I'd say closer to 55,000 if it's a washout. If it gets nice, then 77K would be about right. Lots of people bring their kids to the game, so I'd imagine they won't venture out if it's crappy out.

ive never been to the shoe. where is a good place to sit to get a good view of everything... usually the 50 yard line is the best but usually each stadium has a sweet spot somewhere within... any ideas?

I usually try to avoid B Deck, simply because it's underneath C Deck and you feel kind of restricted. Of course, it's the place to be if it's raining. Anything in A Deck or C Deck between the 30s is my preference.
