Wednesday night, we're playing my Alma Mater (Nicholls State)

I'm pretty good friends with the head of the booster club for Nicholls baseball.
He still reminds me on a regular basis that Nicholls beat LSU last year.

Don't think he'll ever let me forget it if they win another one.

not a bad looking hat for a small school.
I went to one of their games earlier this year. tough to get a read on them, because they were playing a TERRIBLE 1aa school.

good news for LSU

Ranaudo threw a side session yesterday with no pain/discomfort.

no timetable set just yet, but he should be returning sooner rather than later.

I was taking my son from a Jamboree team building event near Kiln, Misssissippi to Red Stick where where his buddies were going to the game as a birthday trip for one of the guys. I was about 30 minutes from Baton Rouge and I call the birthday boy's dad to see how I can hook up with them. While I was driving the 5-1 Hawg lead was wiped out in a seven run Tigger inning, and I called at the seventh inning stretch.

He told me the young LSU fans got bored and left for the hotel when it was 4-1 hawgs, and so missed the come back. :lol:

I told my kid that his buddies had left the game already and missed the Tiger seven run come back. I also told him "If you ever walk out of a Gator game just because we are losing I will disown you." He said "Awwww, dad.... They're LSU fans....what did you expect?" :slappy:
