Bauer had his best stuff with him last night. Dude is good.

But he started dam near every hitter with a 1st pitch curveball cock high down the middle.

Nobody swung at it till the 9th.
Amazing how often you can make contact if you take the bat off your shoulder.

The tards on Tigerdroppings are arguing about how: 1) the umps screwed them, and 2) how Coach Paul is a moron for not bunting...or not

Much as I hate to say it, they did get hosed on several calls, including a seemingly fair ball past first base on the line - called foul. Would have tied it up.

Anteaters looked like they had much better fundamentals all weekend.

last night fans were bitching because we DID bunt with our best power hitter.
today they bitch because we did NOT bunt with our best hitter period.
Gibbs was hitting .392 going in.

I'm glad PM didn't bunt with him at the plate.

the chopper Dean hit and the blast by Watkins.
Both were really fucking close.
Who knows what happens if those go the other way.


But like I said, neither looked like a blatantly bad call. Both could probably have been called either way.
Just sucks that both went against us tonight.
