That is the most bull[censored] I have ever heard. BB is every bit of a leader to our offensive line as Boren is, and probably more. He is a coaches dream student, model citizen, and a great teammate. The coaches have a lot of say in who becomes a captain but BB's teammates respect him like he deserves. I'm sick of people saying Boren should be a captain over BB. I'd bet on BB, Sanzo, Cam and Homan. Logical choices to me.

Gotta be two of the worst radio personalities out there. I was listening to them a couple of weeks ago, and they didn't even know Devin Barclay's name.

My guess when this thread started was Saine, Sanzo, Heyward, Homan. Browning is definitely a very deserving captain candidate as well.

Six captains named

A half-dozen seniors will share the captain duties for Ohio State this season, the school announced today.

The six are offensive lineman Bryant Browning, defensive lineman Cameron Heyward, linebackers Ross Homan and Brian Rolle, tailback Brandon Saine and receiver Dane Sanzenbacher.

It?s only the second time in 121 years of football that OSU has had six captains. The first was in 1982. And it?s only the fifth time OSU has more than four.

All six captains are seniors, which is normal under coach Jim Tressel. In his 10 years, 37 of 38 captains have been seniors. The only exception was linebacker James Laurinaitis as a junior in 2007.

Knew that Pryor wouldn't be selected as a captain yet...just another carrot to dangle in front of him to make sure he comes back for his senior year.
