Bill Belton | WR | Winslow Township (NJ)
True athlete who excels at QB, DB, & WR. Best at WR due to his athleticism & ability to create seperation...

Terrell Chestnut | CB | Pottsgrove (PA)
No one would throw his way while at CB so he switched to FS... First play was an INT... Easily one of the best DBs in attendance...

...
Offensively, Team 1 Rivals 100 candidate Darius Jennings (Gilman) kept opponents on their heels coming out of the backfield.
...
The Team 1 defense was led by Blake Countess (Good Counsel), Adrian Amos (Calvert Hall), Wes Brown (Good Counsel) and
Devonte Jones (Mount St. Joseph) in the secondary.
...
Linebacker Conner Crowell (North Point) did an effective job on defense, showing that he has the speed and flexibility to keep up with smaller and quicker backs.

Scout $ - Michigan Football Showcase - Skill Guys Pt 2

2011 Shaquille Washington ? Maple Heights (OH)
Nearly unguardable in the 7on7 format, needs to add bulk to withstand the pounding he'll receive in college...

2011 Eilar Hardy ? Pickerington (OH) Central
Stacked physically & can really rough up a receiver, man coverage is not his strong suit, a better fit at safety...

2012 James Ross ? Orchard Lake St. Mary?s
Great in coverage, very instinctual, & a legit 4.5 in the 40 guy.

2012 Royce Jenkins-Stone ? Detroit Cass Tech
More straight line speed with a good frame to fill out, raw in his coverage skills...

BY JOSH HELMHOLDT

The Sound Mind, Sound Body Football Academy has hosted some of the best combines and camps in Michigan recently and on Sunday, the group's held its newest combine, the Michigan Football Showcase, at U-M's new indoor practice facility, Glick Fieldhouse.

Three hundred fifty high school athletes, primarily in the graduating classes of 2011 and 2012, from five different states participated. A big man clinic in the morning featured instruction and one-on-one competition amongst offensive and defensive lineman. The afternoon session featured skill position athletes taking part in one-on-ones and seven-on-sevens.
