You I am fine with, but I really don't trust BN :sneaky:

But it just covers everyone's butts to get the confirmation. But I won't hold up the draft for it.

But speaking of... I should clarify lopsided trades (ie 1 for 3) Cuz now if kinch drafts all of his current picks he would have 20 players.

Two thoughts on the subject:

Thought #1 - Let kinch use up all of his draft picks, but he will need to drop 2 players at the end of the draft, or when he drafts his 19th player he then has to drop someone immediately (basically as he drafts the 19th player) and the player he drops can go back into the draft.

Thought #2 - After kinch drafts his 18th player he then loses his last 2 picks. This still allows kinch to trade picks to move up, but would prevent him from going over the mandatory 18 man rosters.

Of course this would apply to anyone who could end up drafting more than 18 players.

And a reminder regarding the other side of the trade, ie Niagara, those who don't have an 18 man roster at the end of the draft can then pick up players AFTER the draft to fill their roster. This will be during the free add/drop period between the end of the draft til a few days before the season starts.

I was assuming I lost my last two picks (unless I trade them before I get to the point of picking). I don't think I (or whoever) should get to draft 20 and then drop two. That seems unfair and not quite right. Once a roster hits 18 players, that's it. My two cents.

Edit: BN27 has a spreadsheet in the works that he is sending me tonight. I'll finish it up tonight. It's not real necessary until we get to later rounds anyway. . . So get picking!

This makes sense to me. You only have picks in rounds 6 and 7 because you don't have enough players until then. Now that you will...those picks go away. I'm trying to think of a way this can be used to bend a rule....but it's early and I'm supposed to be working.

Work? What's that?

Yeah, was trying to think of how that would bend rules too. So I will go with Thought #2. Once kinch picks player #18 he loses his remaining picks. But this does allow kinch to trade one of those picks to move up if he so chooses. But once he has 18 players on his roster, those 2 extra picks are gone. Then again, the player that gets the extra pick will have the same situation.
