Let's put in a new system...

When you pm your pick, log in as Roger and edit the first post in this thread.

Mark your pick as 'selection has been sent via PM'

Then others will know to check Roger's inbox.

But you do Roger sooooo well.

Plus we might be afraid having the power that Roger has...

In the past few years, the "experts" @NFL Live on ESPN have blasted the Ravens for the following draft picks;
Ngata
Flacco
Suggs
Heap
Ray Lewis
Jermaine Lewis

I think I trust Ozzie and the staff much more than Mark Schlereth.
I remember him saying that drafting Ngata was a huge mistake, may not make the squad out of training camp, etc.
But Ozzie just has an eye for talent and all he does year after year is draft pro-bowlers.
I expect the "ESPN experts" will try the same with Patrick Robinson.
"Started 12 games for the Seminoles in 2009 but only had 36 tackles. Even though he lead the team with 11 passes defended and two forced fumbles, his production declined from 2007 when he had six interceptions as a sophomore, but then just 1 in 2008 and none in 2009."
We watched films and noticed teams deciding to pretty much steer clear of Robinson after his big sophomore year, a la a Nnamdi Asomougha in the NFL.
The Ravens braintrust really likes the combination of size, strength and athleticism that Robinson brings to the defensive side of the ball.
We had him rated as the best corner on the board and were pleasantly surprised that he "fell" to 25. In assessing our needs for 2010, corner was our most pressing area of concern and we believe we have a potentially great one in Robinson.

Rod Graves here, I'm taking over the drafting duties of Whiz, primarily because Whiz doesn't know how to log in... fool.

We here at the Cardinals organization never prepared for something like this to happen, as we had our pick well off the board by now.

With the 26th pick of round one, the Arizona Cardinals select, Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame.

While Matt Leinart is still first string, for now, Jimmy will be coming in to do more than just hold the beer funnel for Matty.

We needed to draft with taking the best player on the board mentality, and Jimmy just so happens to fit into a position that we have our uncertanties about.

Time has elapsed for the 28th and 29th picks. Those teams may make their selection at anytime, but the Colts are now on the clock.

With the 30th pick in the NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select:

Everson Griffen, DE, Southern California

Guys, I'm not sure how many times I have to repeat myself, but everyone is in charge of Roger goodell and the other aliases.

That means if you're up soon:

1) make the pick yourself
2) if you might not be on, PM the pick
3) if you pm'd but are on, do #1

If you're waiting around:
1) log in as Roger and check for a submitted pick
2) make the pick for that team
3) if its not in, send the owner a message

This isn't a 1 man song and dance.

The pick has been in for 5 hours.

Shut your whiny mouth, Goodell. No one cares about you or your problems.
