2010 Big Ten-ACC Challenge

scUM leads by 18. That seems to be the magic/unlucky number. We'll see if they can hold it.

Clemson already within 8 with 12 minutes left.

I think we've seen this act before...

After starting 0-2, Big Ten won four unanswered tonight to go up 4-2. If Iowa didn't choke like they did tonight after being up 18, we'd have swept all 5 games tonight.

We need 2 more wins with 5 to play. Wisconsin looks to be win #5, Penn State and Indiana look like potential losses (though I think Indiana matches up well with Boston College this year). Hoping Purdue or Michigan State can be win #6 tomorrow.

Fucking Iowa choking away a huge lead and Minnesota shitting the bed. Should be 5-0 with Illinois turning out the lights and slamming the door.

Would've been hilarious clinching it tonight and listening to Dookie V and the talking heads tomorrow night. I think Wiscy is a lock for the 5th win but the 6th one could be tough to get. Fucking Minnesota.

I'll never forget the epic fail that was UM basketball last year, which included a huge letdown of the Big Ten in the Challenge by dropping a home game against a bad BC team when UM was a preseason top-25 team that the Big Ten was counting on for a W. Their win today doesn't mean they're any good - it just means Clemson isn't any good.

At any rate, 4-2 is what the Big Ten HAD to be at by day's end today in order to have a shot at winning the Challenge tomorrow, because the matchups are not in the Big Ten's favor on Weds. Duke is almost certainly going to win. That's 4-3. Then you also have a bad PSU team playing (4-4). Big Ten will probably have to get two of Indiana, Purdue and Wisky to win in order to take the Challenge. Wisky can win, but can either of Purdue/Indiana? Hard to say.
