Tell me, just how many Big LEast schools play football in the conference? Notre Dame is a Big LEast school, so they obviously must play football in that league, but what other schools play?

There seem to be a big bunch of schools in the conference, so there must be a lot of big-time football played there.

If Depaul can knock of USF and Marquette can beat Pitt, the conference might be wide open. Can't forget Georgetown and Providence. Does Syracuse still have a D-1A team?

I wish St. John's played football.

On that note, it seems like Fordham University is trying to improve their football program (they've started offering scholarships, leaving division in 2012) and I don't think they could be competitive in the Big East if they joined in 2012. Like, conference title competitive.

The Big East is now 12-9 for the season.

SIX of those wins are against FCS schools.

(For any UM fans who might be lurking, that means they are 6-9 against real football teams.)

We've had 10 weeks of college football, it's November 8th, and here is the list of all bowl-eligible teams from the Big East:

Start of list:

/end of list.

No, I didn't omit any teams. The only team with 6 wins is Syracuse, but 2 of them came against FCS teams, and only 1 can be used toward bowl eligibility.

So they don't have any teams that have qualified for a bowl. :lol:
