1. Before Rodriguez - Michigan fans claim academic superiority.
2. Rodriguez is hired.
3. Michigan accepts a kid who couldn't graduate, couldn't pass a test that by all accounts is as easy as breathing as long as you don't have a mental disability....which Turner doesn't have, and who barely made it past the Clearinghouse. (Meaning, aside from the 'haha you didn't graduate or pass the OGT' stuff....he still is the minimum allowed by the NCAA and is now at Michigan.)

So.....tell me. Are you going to run your mouth about academic superiority, or did Richard Rodriguez fuck that up for you?

This is not something new and has nothing to do with RR's regime. If an institution of higher learning allows admission to someone like Marques Slocum, they can't claim academic superiority over anyone ever again.

In fairness to RichRod, he's just further eroding the academic thing.

The kinesiology and General Studies pathways for athletes, and the course on how to use a DayTimer were in place before he got to TSUN.

I know it's not something new, which is why it was so annoyingly arrogant and ignorant when douchey michigan fans would act like their academic standards were superior. But it's officially dead now.
