Interesting article about RR's spread. Nice breakdown, and lots of research.

When Carcajous Attack!: The Rodriguez Spread Offense At Full Throttle

Okay, so exactly one, sorry, (1), of DickRod's QB's (S. King) falls under the "passing QB" label, so therefor, DickRod "loves passing QB's"? Um, okay...that looks more like an outlier to me.

Overall, pretty good read, but I still don't expect the "impending doom" for B-10 defenses that article seems to be predicting.

I remember from looking it up the last time that the results usually come out 11 days after the date of the test. So, I guess Jeremy will know in a little over a week, and we'll find out sometime after that. He would be a pretty big loss for this class. I was excited about him as a player. He seemed to be one of the game changer types.

ACT scores come out 5-8 weeks after the actual test. He'll be waiting a little while.

And if Turner was allowed to graduate without passing the OGT, wouldn't he have walked with his class before? I think that's a pretty good sign that he isn't following that path.

He had his offense at an all time high in terms of talent and production and they still lost to USF and did a choke job for the ages against Pitt.

They can recruit whoever the hell they want to. Teams take on the personality of the HC and their HC is a fucking loser. The spin and rationalization out of AA is exactly the same shit we've been hearing from South Bend the past 4-5 years for exactly the same reason. Kool Aid chuggers trying to put lipstick on a pig.

In order to graduate without passing the OGT's...

Q: Are there other ways for students to receive a diploma if they don’t pass the OGT? A: Students may graduate and receive a diploma without passing all five tests of the OGT if they meet ALL of the following requirements:
• Pass 4 of the 5 tests and have missed passing the 5th test by no more than 10 points.
• Have had a 97% attendance rate through all 4 years of high school and must not have had an expulsion from high school.
• Have a grade point average of at least 2.5 out of 4.0 in the subject area missed and have completed the curriculum requirement in the subject area missed.
• Have participated in any intervention programs offered by the school and must have had a 97% attendance rate in any program offered outside the normal school day.
• Obtain letters of recommendation from each teacher in the subject area not yet passed, as well as the principal.

That must be the SAT I'm thinking about then. It was on one of their website with the actual date the results were released.

As far as JT, not necessarily. I assume they wouldn't let him walk because the appeal process takes time.

FWIW, I didn't walk in my graduation, but finished in the top 5 in my class with all the assorted honors and whatnot. I did PSEO, so I only spent 2 years actually AT the high school, and was unaware of some fees that I owed. Failure to pay those precluded my walking. Nonetheless, I still graduated.

The point being that just because a guy doesn't walk doesn't mean that he won't graduate. On the other hand, it sounds as though Turner likely won't be able to graduate without passing the OGT regardless of whether or not he walked. Swing and a miss for RR, I guess.
