There's a thread over there on Stadium and Main talking about the drop off at RB now that Beanie is going to be gone.

God that team was awful this past year. I don't know that I've ever seen a worse "big time" football team. Even at their lowest ebb of rebuilding teams like Miami, Fl., FSU, Auburn, LSU, USC never looked as completely inept as the 2008 Michigan team.

What I think is going to happen here is, Wheatley will get some coaching experience while he's there, and get in good with lots of HS head coaches in and around Michigan. Then when Freddy Jack decides to retire (I'm thinking after Jeremy graduates from UM) he can step right in the RB position coach at UM.

Does he have any strange pets or fetish for chocholate milk we need to know about ahead of time?

Just trying to get a leg up on the next round of predictions for imminent domination from the scUM faithful.

I think he's the Florida qb who's scheduled to visit. He's listed at 6 foot 2, 185 lbs, with a 4.5 40 time. He has offers and is currently interested in Army, Appalachian State, Central Michigan, Toledo, and Michigan.

I gotta say that is a scary offer list though.

I think that all the Weasel fans' dismay relative to Robinson is misplaced. It is quite possible for a coach to be an outstanding coordinator, yet a miserable failure as a head coach.

I've been wondering what the excuse will be if he plays well in Ann Arbor. Well that was just because he hates Michigan so much, he was fired up...

Some UM fans are smart enough to separate the departure hatred from the actual player, but they are the minority in Boren threads.
