Which is also impossible given the lay-up opponent that the SEC #2 usually faces...To make that happen both Florida and Bama have to take ass-whippings in the BCSNC and Sugar Bowl. tOSU and M*ch*g*n were arguably ranked one and two when they both were humiliated in their respective games. If we are undefeated when we meet in the SECCG, it will be the exact situation leading up to the 2006 BCS bowl games.
Yup, because folks aren't capable of analyzing something as complex as two games not on the same weekend. We will see, and anything is possible. A loss by one will not bring about that media impression. We both have to lose big. And if one of us wins the BCSCG, then the SEC is a perfect 1.00 in BCSC Games, and the four in a row for the SEC will deflect any ass beating the other team may take in the Sugar Bowl...IMHO
If Bama drew Cinci (which is still a pretty big mismatch when merely discussing talent) and lost convincingly, they'd probably still be preseason top-2 next year if Florida won the NC game... and chances are no stereotypes or labels would get branded on the crimson tide.
There is absolutely no comparison between the OSU/UM politics and the SEC politics.muffler dragon;1603531; said:This year's SEC reminds me of the tOSU/Michigan 2006 campaign. I'm very intrigued to see what happens to the SEC media impression IF the bowl games end the same way they did for tOSU and Michigan that year.
The SEC has become 5 times the bias/propaganda machine that UF fans complained about just 3 short years ago. In less than a calendar year, they would have a far bigger hype propelling them.
And they'd accomplish this by beating two programs labeled as choke artists, most of them declared unworthy of the stage afterwards.
