With Caleb King hampered in camp with hamstring problems - it looks like Samuel has earned the starters job for the Dawgs.
Richt likes what he sees and I trust Curran's eval of a hard nosed SEC runner.
Let's hope he hangs on the the ball a bit better this year.

Dammit Woof, if you don't beat the Pokes we're gonna have to eat some shit together real soon on this board.
I would include Nutria, but he will just throw Zatarains and Tony Cacherie's on it. And that Auburnbuck won't mind, as eating shit from Alabama fans is practically a birthright.

Stats that make me go Hmmmmmmmm....
As Urban has recruited for his Spread offense, and now has his own guys in there, the average yard per play has increased every year.
In 2005, the Gators averaged 5.3 yards.
In 2006, 6.3 yards.
In 2007, 7.0 yards.
And in 2008, 7.1 yards per play.
Obviously, there has to be an end point somewhere near this, but it is always nice to see continued improvement.
