2009 Purdue game thoughts

I think what is so disheartening is just that we could be performing at such a higher and more efficient rate. We aren't even good at the things that Tressel has always been running. I don't understand what it is. It just saddens me to think of how great of a coach and man we have running our team and how great of players and people he brings in and why these brilliant, talented people cannot put together an offense that is even competitive with other team's offenses. We are in the 90's in offense. Like really?? We are SO much better than that and it is blatantly obvious that a lot of things NEED to change for us to be successful because this is not working.

This is not working. The offense is a grab bag. He is not willing to change. We will need to be as lucky as the 2001-2002 team to win another championship. I don't think I ever see a team that lucky again in my life. We will NOT win another championship playing not to lose. You have to be dynamic. You have to make plays. There is another argument for the good that Jim Tressel does and I am the last to argue against it. I recognize it. Is that enough? What say you, Buckeye Nation?

This is what Duane Long says. I agree. And it seems to me that most everyone can see it, except for the people who matter most?
