One other thing of note: Angela Bizzarri, senior harrier for Illinois, won the national title in a time of 19:46 (6K course). I am mentioning this because she is a Big10 runner and she is from Mason, Ohio. Congrats Angela!

:( I hope that her recruitment took place in the prior regime which is seems that probably did. Looking at the women's roster this should be fairly competitive for next year. Unsure about the man with the loss of See . Don't you have any eligibility left:)

Other Big Ten AA's from Ohio are Bridget Franek from PSU in 26th (also Big Ten Champ) and Kaitlyn Peale from Michigan in 32nd.

Non-Big Ten Ohioan AA's were Emily Infield in 8th from Georgetown and Emily Pritt in 17th for NC State.

Neal has done a fantastic job with the women. I don't know who they are recruiting, but it would be huge if he can land Chambers or Wagner this year, and/or Thomas or Neczypor next year.

As for the men, losing See will hurt, but as long as the returning group continues to improve, I think they will make it back to nationals again next year. They will need some more consistency from Meyer and Roys, and hopefully Leslie will figure things out XC wise. I also have no idea what is going on with Balyo, but he will be easily the most talented guy on the team, and could be a huge help if he can put together a good season.
