Rumor that Niedermayer is going back to Anaheim.. Pronger move coming in an hour or so maybe?

I'm pretty pumped to see the deals that might go down. I love pre-draft and pre-trade deadline time in all sports. Exciting. :biggrin:

jay bo got what he wanted and his trade to calgary. he grew up in edmonton and played for medicine hat.

sedins are being chased around back home by the nucks. looks like the habs will toss out an offer on the first.

a few teams are cap tight already (flyers, rangers) and a few are walking a tightrope. should be a nice place for value teams to make some good deals if some of those teams lurch for a ufa/rfa offer sheet.

antropov wants a big contract.

zherdev's agent is said to be "allusive" suprise, suprise...

actually some decent mid level players out there.

i personally think mike komisarek is the best dman available this summer signing season.

Blue Jackets signed C Samuel Pahlsson away from Chicago for 3 years/7.65mil (2.65mil/yr) and G Mathieu Garon of Pittsburgh for 2 years/2.4mil (1.2mil/yr).

Real bummer... especially considering he signed for only $100,000 more than what we got Garon for.

^^ we have to young goaltenders waiting right now. jimmy howard will back osgood up i wouldn't doubt next summer or even around trade deadline looking for a solid backup. they have been high on this howard kid for awhile. hopefully it works out.
