With the uncertainty surrounding Anquan Boldin's future in Arizona, what will help out is a big-time receiver in Hakeem Nicks from North Carolina... has a little Michael Irvin in him. Big, great hands, competitive, will catch in traffic. Speed though is the only issue as it was for Michael Irvin coming out, he didn't run a 4.4 and Nicks won't either, but he's a complete wide receiver. I thought he was a steal at 22 in my projections, getting him in the 2nd is highway robbery.

Arizona's draft day trades are paying off big time so far.

We were thrilled to find Hakeem on the board still, and felt we had to make an agressive move to grab him. He really fits the Anquan Boldin mold of being a great possesion reciever. Things are pretty far apart with Anquan, and I'm not optomistic.

We refuse to lose momentum from last season, and wanted to go out and grab some guys that we felt would contribute from the start. We don't have time for projects. Hakeem along with Shady and Cushing will see the field and hopefully make big impacts on another run.
