Thanks Steve, The Howell predictor seems closer than what might be projected by Sagarin. I seem to remember that you are a believer in Sagarin Predictor?

Any word on Iowa from Howell?

The spread and TP on Florida vs. Cincy also seems incredibly low.

Missed Iowa and fixed it in the original post.

I do like the Predictor, normally. I like Howell because he gives probabilities of wins. Claasen is perhaps the most accurate predictor this year 2009?Claassen?Rankings.

All of the models have converged toward similar models because so many games have now been played.

We should remember that the performance of a team that got better as the year progressed will be under-predicted in some models.

I'll agree with the minority that thinks NW will
win.

I'm adding to that minority myself.

My girlfriend is an Auburn fan. Her parents Auburn alumn. I went to the Auburn @ Arkansas game this year and couldn't help but notice how much trouble Auburn had/has with a mobile QB and an above average O-Line.

NW's run game seems to match up well...and I wouldn't be surprised to see Kafka go through a (somebody stop me) metamorphosis from the bullied to the bully on the "big stage".

I honestly believe the Big 10 could go 2-0 against the SEC just as easily as they could go 0-2 this bowl season. There are no true "underdogs" in either game.

With that said:

BCS
Rose 1/1/10: OSU vs Oregon 28-24
Orange 1/5/10: Iowa vs GT 31-38

Others
Champs Sports 12/29: Wisky vs Miami (FL) 13-31
Insight 12/31: Minny vs Iowa State 21-31
Outback 1/1: Northwestern vs Auburn 28-24
Cap One 1/1: PSU vs LSU 13-10
Alamo 1/2: MSU vs Texas Tech 10-24

BY THE WAY!

Is anyone else stoked about the pending matchup with Miami next season? I think the home-and-away with them could be just as intriguing as our previous 2 with Texas and USC.
