2009-10 Men's Basketball Polls/Rankings

I didn't get any replies in the other thread, so I'm re-posting this here.

What first & second round location would geographically suit the Buckeyes the best.....assuming they could get a 2 seed? I'm officially calling Syracuse to Buffalo. It would be fucking sweet to have OSU there, too. Most of the Bracketology sites have the 1, 16, 8, 9 for Syracuse, then a mystery 2, 15, 7, 10......the 2 usually being WVU or Nova.

PLEASE take that 2 seed from WVU. Those hilljacks pack whatever stadium they go to, and are annoying as hell.

Other possibilities: Providence, Milwaukee, Jacksonville, New Orleans, OK City. I can't imagine they'd be shipped out to Spokane or San Jose as a 2 seed.

I think wherever Syracuse is the one-seed is where we should hope the Buckeyes end up. We're better than the Cuse. I don't think that we're better than Kansas or Kentucky. Dook maybe.

None of the first round sites appear to be geographically friendly for fan travel.
However in order of distance, Buffalo, Milwaukee are day trups from C-bus, then Providence, Jacksonville, New Orleans and OK City.
The #3 seeds apparently are assigned to New Orleans, Providence, and San Jose.
The #2 seeds play in Buffalo, Milwaukee, Ok City, and Providence.
IMHO it would really, really benefit Buckeyes to be selected as a #2 seed.
This site projects Purdue, Nova, Kansas State, and W Va as #2 seeds.
Updated bracket projections - Beyond the Arc - msnbc.com

Since Buffalo and Milwaukee appear to be the most accessible sites for first round Buckeye travel. . .

To get to the Buffalo region we would need to jump WVa as a #2 seed in the midwest.

To get to Milwaukee we would need to jump Purdue as #2 in the South.

Win the B10 tourney and either or both of these happen.

Seeds aren't assigned to locations necessarily. Highly ranked teams supposedly get selected to nearby locations. I'm hoping WVU tanks and OSU runs the table to take their 2 seed. I want WVU in Providence with Nova, which would put OSU in Buffalo with Syracuse.

Then both teams can stay at the same hotel as me and we'll all just sit in the lobby and hang out :banger:
