They should be pretty solid. Return 7 of their top 8 scorers from a 20+ win season, plus a tournament win over Clemson last year set them up for a good preseason ranking. The Big10 is looking pretty strong this year.brodybuck21;1578946; said:Nice to see but Im scratching my head at scum being 15. Are they that good?
Looks like we've got six games against the preseason top 10. One at home(Purdue), four on the road(MSU, Purdue, WVU and Butler) and one on a neutral floor(UNC). We will have been well tested by the time the tournament comes around.BB73;1578883; said:

Quite interesting but as MaxBuck said doesn't mean anything in the long run. I remember in 2007 Michigan State lost to Grand Valley State and almost lost to Michigan Tech and ended up in the Sweet 16.OHSportsFan9;1583315; said:#25 Syracuse loses to LeMoyne College in an Exhibition.

(Wasn't sure where to put this. Our we going to have conference threads for these types of discussions? I suppose this works since Syracuse was ranked)

IMO, that seems like a pretty big jump for beating two not-so-good teams. Then again, I thought OSU was under-ranked in last week's rankings, so I think somewhere around #15 is probably about right. OSU has, since Turner's return, clearly established itself as the #3 team in the Big Ten (maybe #2, depending on how Purdue's playing).
