2008 U.S. Army All-American Bowl - Jan. 5th

Before long, the Army All American Bowl is going to go by the wayside in favor of the Under Armour Bowl on ABC. ABC simply has too much of a built in advantage being affiliated with the Worldwide Leader in sports, who can justify airing skills challenges and team practices at 4:00 on a Tuesday. That means even more exposure for those uncommitted prospects, further expanding their opportunities. Also, you know many of the best in the country have immense egos, and crave as much notoreity as possible; regardless if it benefits their recruiting in any way. Not to mention Lemming alienating an increasing number in the football world by exhibiting unrelenting favoritism towards Notre Dame. Pretty soon the game is going to be a scrimmage for incoming Domer freshmen. It will be equally as relevant to the national public, as all the other games of theirs NBC shows.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the future Buckeyes on the big stage against quality competition. I want to see Flash's burst, and Sabino's ability to work through traffic and bring the wood, and Adam's and Shugart's delivering pancakes, and Posey running after the catch, and Stoney going up over a DB in the corner of the endzone, and Buchanon kicking it out of the endzone. Also looking forward to maybe getting a late x-mas present or two and having couple more prospects doff scarlet and gray caps.

It almost seemed as if Lamar meant to slip up and say 9. However, if it is indeed 9 that he thinks are coming to OSU that would mean one of Jenkins or Pryor (though I don't think that's what he meant).

They have to do what they can to help ND with the ratings what they have been this past season.

If ND is smart they'll try and build this game into their next contract so that the ratings won't be so bad. This game is going to be better than anything ND put on the field this year.

Would've been shorter had you listed ND commits not playing in the game. Fourteen fricking ND commits. What a totally obvious farce Lemming is. Might as well call this the Notre Dame Commitment Bowl...

According to the game rosters, the #2, 5, 7, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 25, 33, 36, 40, 41, 44, 45, 46, and 50 nationally ranked players did not make the game. Yet NoD has #42 ranked DT and #30 ranked WRs playing. I know the UA game took some of them, but...
