Great news for UM. That opens up another slot for a DL recruit.

Of course, this does mean that RR has yet to recruit a single player who is ranked in the top 12 at their position (Campbell came in under Carr). He has landed one player in the top 24 at their spot. (OSU's numbers are 11 and 15 in those categories.)

It is a long way till signing day - but for the time being you simply can't put a spin on this.

Perhaps, but Rodriguez knows his system better than anyone else does. If he feels 3* Teric Jones or Fitz Toussaint are worthy of an offer for his system, then so be it.

Fera.

(I know, I know. Kicker. Still. Bryan Wright proved it's pretty important.)

Also, McNeal and Bell are 9th per ESPN.

Let's see...

QB- Eugene Smith is the #5 dual-threat, Forcier is #6. One of those two will fill Newsome's void.
Well neither of them are committed... and do you believe Eugene Smith is even a lock to play QB?
Beaver checks in at #8.
The 8th ranked dual threat might be the 20th best qb. I think that's what measuring stick he's using.
RB- Fitz Toussaint is ranked the #11 APB.
again, a pretty specialized rating. It would be like claiming to have a top-12 corner after landing the #8 short side corner, or a top-12 LB after landing the 7th weakside LB.

Am I missing something?
McNeal - 9th or 13th, depending on who you read. Justin Turner, #3 safety per Rivals. And Fera.

1. Yes to Eugene Smith playing QB. No to actually landing him, because I think we'll get Forcier.
2-3. My bad. Just going off where they were ranked for Rivals.
