Everyone who is going have a great time! I had planned on doing the 6 hour drive with my two girls, husband is working this weekend. But my oldest has dance class tomorrow and with the recital in 3 weeks she needs the practice. My sister will be there with my parents hope the weather is good.

I have heard differing stories. Is parking free tommorow?

Send $20 to the BP Spring drive and you can park anywhere you like.

Amazing, the weather yesterday and today was perfect. Tomorrow afternoon there is an 80% chanve of rain.

Shouldn't be a problem. According to the local news it isn't supposed to start until about 1:00 and should be over by 4:00.

Seriously.

Ohio State football
Offense to trot out its pony backfield
Two-tailback set designed for quick, short passes

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

Here's a spring game promotion you won't see too often: The first 105,000 people in Ohio Stadium today get a pony.
No, they don't actually get a pony, but they will get a look at what the Buckeyes are calling their "pony backfield" -- two tailbacks on the field at once.
Ohio State has been tinkering with its offense throughout spring practice, with an increased emphasis on quick, short passes.
For fans, this new look probably is the most interesting aspect to watch at today's game, which will more closely resemble a controlled scrimmage.

Notebook: Boeckman's protection a priority

Saturday, April 19, 2008 2:54 AM
By Tim May

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

Senior quarterback Todd Boeckman will be off limits to anything but incidental contact in the two quarters he plays today in the Ohio State Scarlet and Gray game in Ohio Stadium. Coincidentally, coach Jim Tressel made sure safety Kurt Coleman understood the edict.
"I've asked Tress about that, and he said I won't be able to hit him the whole year," Coleman said.
He laughed, but after Coleman blitzed and lowered the boom on Boeckman in preseason camp last year, Tressel lowered the boom, audibly, on Coleman.

Don't forget about ...

Everyone will be watching the quarterbacks at today's spring game, that's always a given. But here are some other players you might want to track:

? RB Daniel Herron (No. 1, Scarlet) -- The redshirt freshman has been impressive and is fighting for time in a crowded backfield.
? LB Etienne Sabino (No. 6, Gray) -- True freshman has been one of the pleasant surprises of the spring, with a knack for making plays.
? WR/DB Devon Torrence (No. 10, Scarlet) -- Has been working at both receiver and cornerback; coaches are high on his ability.
? OL Bryant Browning (No. 70, Gray) -- Favorite to take over right tackle position has been helped by injuries to several of his top competitors.
? DE Thaddeus Gibson (No. 90, Scarlet) -- Has thrived since his move from linebacker; fits the new mold of quicker defensive ends.

Updated weather forecast from wunderground.com:

Cloudy. Showers becoming likely late this morning...then showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the mid 60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.

Looking at the radar, I don't think it will be all that bad. Definitely going to see some rain at some point today, but it doesn't look like it will last for the entire day. Hopefully things hold off for the game.

OSU SPRING GAME
Boeckman off-limits; all others will be hit

By Doug Harris
Staff Writer

COLUMBUS ? Kurt Coleman knows a black jersey on a quarterback means he's off-limits, but the Ohio State starting safety couldn't pass up a clean shot at Todd Boeckman during a preseason practice last year.
"I came on a blitz and tackled him," said the Northmont High School graduate, who was chewed out for his lapse in judgment. "I learned my lesson."

OSU's main concerns: Position battles, health
Jason Lloyd Journal Register News Service
04/19/2008

You know it's going to be a good year when the biggest problem for the Ohio State football team is finding an adequate fullback.
The Buckeyes wrap up spring ball today with a unique Scarlet and Gray game, which follows Ohio State's lacrosse game against Denver. Ohio State is trying to set attendance records in both sports.
Typically the No. 1 priority in spring games is to get out healthy. That is certainly the case today, since most of the position battles are already settled and few openings remain on either side of the ball. To that extent, quarterback Todd Boeckman will play two quarters today, but will be wearing a black jersey and won't be allowed to get hit.
