Segio is such a hack! They were giving Kim shit for not conceeding that 2 footer. I was thinking to myself that Kim would be stupid to conceed anything outside of a foot to Sergio becuase he's such a terrible putter under pressure. What do you know, he missed it. In fact, he barely hit the hole.

13.5 points and Furyk is dorme vs the mechanic. hopefully he finishes it off and the US will get the cup back.

that was awesome to see JB hit that shot to win his match. he looked so nervous, and he hit one of the best shots of the event.

Awesome! I'm not a huge golf fan, but I love the Ryder Cup. So much more energy and emotion involved.

Nice to see Curtis get a win, even if it was mostly meaningless.

Ian Poulter is a mad man. If anybody ever looked at me the way he looked after sinking those putts yesterday, I'd run like hell.

I wish someone had paid off Zinger and Faldo to pair Phil and Sergio today. The ineptitude would rival that of ND-UM in unintentional comedy.

Victory at Valhalla: Rookies lead USA to Ryder Cup win

The drought is finally over, thanks to a gang of frisky underdogs who defied the odds and wrested a coveted golden chalise from their mighty foes. Led by six rookies loaded with grit and heart, Team USA defeated Team Europe with a gutsy singles performance on Sunday that gave the red, white and blue a Ryder Cup win for the first time nine years.

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (AP) -- The Americans didn't need a miracle putt or even the best player in the world to reclaim the Ryder Cup from Europe on Sunday for the first time since 1999.
The United States won 16 1/2-11 1/2, its largest margin of victory since 1981.
.......

"I poured my heart and soul into this for two years," U.S. captain Paul Azinger said, his voice cracking. "The players poured their heart and soul into this for one week. They deserved it. I couldn't be happier."
Ben Curtis and Chad Campbell, the final player picked for this U.S. team, won the final two matches for a lopsided score.

What a great performance and sweet victory for the "Yanks." It's obvious that golf can be a "team" game and this team was fantastic!!

There has to be a marketing machine out there ready to make Boo a real rich man. That guy has "marketability" written all over him, how can you as an American not love that guy?

Also, major Kudos to Captain "Zinger." Great picks and great pairings. You gotta be tough to take on a challenge like this, and any dude that can kick Cancer's ASS is someone you might not wanna mess with.

Always proud to be an American, EXTREMELY proud to be an American golf fan tonight!!!!!!!!!!
