Bowl pick'em discussion thread

since the thread closes once we make our picks, i thought it would be nice to have a thread to discuss the pick'em as bowl season progresses.

does anyone else feel confident during the regular season and then clueless when the bowl games come along? this is the third year that i have run just over 500 in the reg season and then about 333 for bowl games. where the hell was oregon's defense during the reg season? how 'bout Troy shitting the bed in the last ten minutes? or north carolina's turnover in the last 5 minutes to give WVU the win? it seems to me that this stuff doesn't happen in the regular season. maybe its just the month long layover that gives teams time to work on their weaknesses. thoughts?

For whatever reason, I actually feel clueless during the season and more confident during Bowl Season. No, I actually am pretty much clueless throughout, but I enjoy the hell out of it.

OOPs! I thought this thread was about the Yahoo Challenge. Missed my chance to make picks in this thread. Sorry. Oh well, I'm doing okay in the yahoo game so far, but if history repeats, as it always does, I'll see myself dip farther and farther down the leader board as Bowl season rolls on.
