2008 NFL Draft (Projections/Mock Drafts/Evaluations/Draft)

I dont know who the hell he is so im not gonna open my mouth TOO much, but someone please tell me that I am completely off base in questioning how the bengals could take Jerome Simpson ahead of limas sweed, malcolm kelly, and desean Jackson? Or the fact that Fred Davis, Calais Campbell, and Quinten groves were both still available.

Going to have to say that as of now, it looks like a pretty terrible decision. But then again they have scouts and I'm just me.

Luckily I'm not a Bengals fan so this move doesn't bother me. :tongue2:

Couple surprises in the draft.. really surprised that Malcolm Kelly fell so far..

I hate the Steelers for getting Mendenhall and Sweed. I wish just once they would have a crappy draft. Just once.

Maybe the Dolphins should go after Bike Hart too. That would be funny, but he seems to have Bengals written all over him.

The Chiefs look like they did a good job so far. I won't give them too much credit though. They came into the day picking near the top of the draft and had 13 picks. Only the Detroit Lions could come out of that situation with a bad looking draft.

It'll be nice to finally see the Browns make some picks tomorrow.

Ran a horrible time, and in response he staged a private workout session where NO scouts were invited. He would hire someone to test it and send out the times. This was per 1460, so I'm not sure if someone was capable of knocking sense into the kid first.

I'd say the story line for today's first 2 rounds of the draft was that today was a day for the terrible reaches. This is JMO but I don't think there is any way I would take Flacco that high and the same for Jordon Dizon and Jerome Simpson. These are just big reaches at where they were drafted in my opinion.

I know as a Browns fan I'm just drooling at all the good players still left in the draft. Can't wait for tomorrow. GO BROWNIES!!!

I knew he ran a bad time, but didn't know about the private workout session. I guess I'm not surprised if he did that. He deserves it..

Can't wait for cbf40's first post, he was pissed over Ryan. Did my best to help him come around on BP.
The entire Atlanta draft has been fucked up. Three 3rd rounders tomorrow, and a total of 6 second day picks I believe. At least 2 of those better be DT's, at least 1 CB and 1 safety. A TE and another OL would be ideal. If something resembling what I just laided doesn't happen there will be hell to pay.
