I like the Hickson pick. He's a talented, strong, hard working power forward. It wasn't my first choice, but there's certainly nothing wrong with this pick. He's definitely more of an NBA power forward. I think he'll fit in well in Cleveland.

It's definitely not a bad pick.

It has to be part of a Redd trade. Theres no way any front office is that stupid.

LeBrons contract expires in 2010, not 2019.

I hope you are right, but I'm not seeing it.

The Bucks took Alexander to be an agile 4. You've got Redd, Richardson, and Alexander pushing the ball with Bogut at the Center position.

Who knows what the Cavs do now...frustrating night.

Seriously, why is Hickson a bad pick if we were going for a big? Arthur needs just as much work and development, same for Koufos. He's more of a pure post player than both of those players, and a better defender than Koufos.

He put of 15 and 9 in the ACC. It's not like he's some stiff who has NO chance of contributing at all. He'll play for us. He needs polish, but all rookies do.

I don't think it's the pick as much as it is a realization that the Cavs won't be any better at all next year. Same team, same results.

We have a project on the bench, but what does that do for this franchise?

We still have a lot of trade assets. If we don't get to use those assets this year, then we have a lot of money to spend next year.

I think the team will be fine this year, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see Hickson starting by the end of the year. He'll be a nice complement to Ilgauskas. He's a rawer version of Boozer at this point in his career.

Just wait, Ferry has a lot more pieces for this trade deadline this year than he did last year. Wally's contract is going to get us something at the deadline this year for a team that is out of the playoff race or wants expiring contracts. It seems to me that a lot of people thought that the Cavs were going to make a big trade tonight. Its much harder to make a trade right now than it will at the trade deadline.
