I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to post as regularly as I want to.
My two cents worth at this part of the season is that we still have a young team that started out very well and has fallen upon some hard times and that could be expected.
Maybe the slump was caused by a quesion of stamina, maybe not. We cannot afford to leave as many runners on base as we have been doing and expect to win consistently.
What I expect on is that the ladies will come together as a team and stay on the winning side of the ball.
After all we ARE the LADY BUCKEYES!

Marley Powers hit a pinch-grand slam, and Michigan (41-4, 12-1) defeated host Ohio State 10-1.
The Buckeyes (26-19, 4-10) trailed 3-0 after three innings before starting pitcher Kim Reeder ran into trouble in the fourth.
She gave up a leadoff double and then walked two to load the bases. Megan Miller relieved Reeder, Powers greeted her with the grand slam and Angela Findlay followed with a homer to make it 8-0.

The Buckeyes (30-21, 6-12) scored six runs in the seventh inning of the first game for a 6-3 win. The big hit was a bases-loaded triple by Tory Haddad that erased a 3-2 deficit.
