We all knew the Morgan Newton's and Dorian Bell's of the world prior to the Badger Sport/New Level Athletics Passing Camp. The trick is finding the players who went above and beyond and put themselves on the national radar.

With the amount of talent that was on display over the weekend in Akron it's tough to pick out a handful of players who shined. Four members of the Scout.com recruiting team were in Akron and we watched and evaluated over 200 prospects from states up and down the East coast and around the Midwest.

The past two years the Scout.com Combine has ventured to the ?Steel City? and it has turned out to always be one of our best events of the year. This year Scout.com has joined forces with Under Armour to bring student athletes the new prototype in combines. This weekend?s event may be the best yet.

The Under Armour/Scout.com Combine in Pittsburgh was loaded at wide receiver, linebacker and defensive back. The choices were difficult for the All-Combine team at those spots. The selections were made by members of the Scout.com team and the coaches after compiling test results and on field perfomance.

The field turf inside the UPMC Indoor Complex is known for its split personality, depending on the weather it can be fast or slow. Sunday it was a slow track. When the Steelers or Pitt Panthers time their athletes they subtract .15 from the 40-yard dashes, so that will give a more realistic look at the times. If a player ran a 4.65 the more accurate time would be 4.50.

Pryor will be joined by one of the fastest risers in the country of late in Miami Palmetto speedster Jaamal Berry. Berry, who has garnered offers from Auburn, Florida, LSU and others should shine in the camp setting due to his great feet and change of direction.
Two sets of state championship teammates are planning on putting their winning mentality on display over the weekend. The Naples High School speed and power combo of Greg Pratt and Carlos Hyde is the first. Pratt's shiftiness and breakaway ability teamed with Hyde's strength and power to help Naples win the 3A Florida State Championship.
New Hallandale transfer Victor Marc stands at 5 feet 11 and weighs 208 pounds and despite his strong arm, could be a great asset at either linebacker or running back on the next level. Marc already holds offers from North Carolina, Ohio State and Clemson among others.
Headlined by Plantation High School's Brandon McGee, the defensive backs will be a terrific group and should set up some great matchups with the wideouts. McGee is joined on Sunday as well as in the fall by his two Plantation teammates Vladimir Emilien and Josh Robinson. Both Emilien and Robinson are gaining offers by the day and along with McGee, make up one of the nation's top defensive backfields.
Several other highly-touted defenders will be on hand in the secondary on Sunday including Ricardo Dixon out of Hallandale, Tevin McCaskill out of Miami Northwestern as well as 2010 prospect Khalid Marshall, also out of Northwestern.
Quanthony Fletcher is a much bigger backer at 6-1, 240 and he holds offers from South Carolina, Florida State and Florida. Despite his size, he has shown that he can be a very effective defender in the pass game and will likely showcase that ability once again on Sunday.
Cris Carter spent 16 years in the NFL and will likely be in the NFL Hall of Fame one day. He spent his Saturday afternoon at the Under Armour/Scout.com Combine in South Florida, coaching up the receivers and giving a very impressive post-combine speed to all the kids who participated. It was an action-packed event.
Miami Palmetto running back Jaamal Berry ripped off an amazing 4.31/40 time. Widely considered one of the fastest players in the entire state, Berry proved it in front of everyone on Saturday. At 5-10 1/2 and 185 pounds, he solidied his spot as a four-star player on Scout.com.
Duron Carter, Cris's son, continues to show that he's as smart and as competitive a receiver there is in this state. He turned in a 4.66/40 time and will only get faster as he gets older and stronger.

"[Berry] came out there and he competed well and showed a lot of size and athleticism," remarked the former USC fullback [Brandon Hancock]. "In the one-on-one drills, he's physical and he showed a lot of eagerness to get up in there. He was good with his hands in the pass blocking and also on the pass catching side of the ball he ran some good routes. I think all in all he was one of the guys who was Division-I ready. I thought Berry was the closest to the comprehensive package."

In all my years with Scout.com, there has never been a more impressive group of players than what showed up and competed at the first annual New Level Athletics/Scout.com 7 on 7 Tournament in Tampa two weekends ago. We've been telling you all about the top players at the event and now it's time to present the All-Tournament Team.
