2008 British Open at Royal Birkdale

Two-time Open Champion Greg Norman continues to turn back the clock as he sits alone atop the leaderboard at 2-over heading to the final round at the British Open. Norman finished the day with a two-stroke lead over playing partner K.J. Choi and defending champion Padraig Harrington. Full Story.

this would be truly amazing if he wins tomorrow. i have a feeling he's going to keep the lead until the back nine and crumble (choke) just like he used to.

Nope. Started choking immediately. Four over after six holes and falling like a stone. Gotta feel sorry for this guy.

Leaders at +7. Furyk the leader in the clubhouse at +10.

The top of the field is pedaling backwards at pace. One more bogey from about five guys and Ernie Els will have gone from 20th place to 10th place in the clubhouse. If Els hadn't blown up on the first day, he might have been winning this thing. Two 69s not enough to overcome an 80 start.

Norman has steadied the ship but answered three straight bogeys by Harrington (which put him ahead) with a bogey on the 10th.

Gotta believe that Norman can choke this away yet, despite the shared lead. Personally, I hope he doesn't. He's a nice guy that needs to put this devil away for good.

Why? Put him in the same camp as Pholdin' Phil. He's made a career out of blowing leads of all sizes.

Still, a 53 year old pushes the pack to the last day. No wonder Tiger wins so often, these guys would have starved on the old circuit. And how can you respect a leader with pink pants and a wahoo haircut?

Yeah, gotta feel sorry for a multi-millionaire who has the mental strength of Michelle Wie. :roll1:

No sympathy for this stooge. He gets what he deserves. Get back to wine making fool.
