I sent a PM to the commish, but he apparently had a few too martinis at lunch and is unavailable. With the 252nd and final pick of the 2008 BP Mock Draft, the St. Louis Rams select the new Mr. Irrelevant:

Nick Hayden, DT, Wisconsin (Seen here lovingly caressing the "Big Texan")

And now that the draft is complete, I have devised a scoring system to determine who got the most value from their picks, based on the actual drafting position for each player.

For each player selected, the pick number in the actual draft will be selected from the pick number in the real draft. or example, Jake Long was picked 1st overall in the real draft, but 2nd overall in the BP draft. St. Louis will garner +1 point for this. If Chris Long were to be drafted 4th overall, Miami would receive -3 points for that pick. I know the math is tremendously complicated, but try to keep up. For any players drafted in the BP draft that go undrafted in the real draft, the pick number for the calculation will be 253. So, for example, if pick #231, Trey McNeil, Official BP Bitch, goes undrafted, Cleveland will receive -22 points.

After the draft, the total for each team will be divided by the number of picks and the team with the highest positive average will get nothing more than a laurel.......and hardy handshake. Maybe I'll hit up Deety to hook the winner up with some of my vcash or something. She's easy.

Feel free to make any suggestions for how to refine the scoring, if you'd like. :)

Fucking Elitist Table Humper!!!

Actually I was just drafting based on helping the team I was drafting for not based on how I thought they'd actually draft. Hell if I did that everyone knows the Bills would select Nick Hayden with their first pick in the draft. :tongue2:

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Jwinslow, sandgk, and even that power hungry rat-bastard Roger Goodell for actually getting us all the way and completing the draft. This was my first year getting to participate and I know I had a blast. I'm sure I'm not the only one who can say they enjoyed the Mock draft so thank you fellas.

Thanks for participating everyone... I've been out all day with the wifey. Hayden's a heck of a Mr. Irrelevant, nearly picked him myself but couldn't resist the upside of Mr. Ineligible from USC.
