Looking at the teams coming back and looking at schedules, it looks to me like we will have another crazy football season. There will be more balance in college football and that means more "upsets" that really aren't upsets because of parity.
Probably a good thing for college football in general.
Not so good for the BCS, though. More controversy.
Just look at some of the so-called super teams in 2008.
USC- flawed WRs and a relatively new starting QB. Losses on defense.
Georgia- plays in the always tough SEC. And they got blown out in some games last year. Over-rated?
Florida-that defense is expected to be better, they couldn't get any worse.
Oklahoma- choke specialist or just over-rated?
Texas-lost Vince Young a couple years ago and haven't been the same since.
Kansas? Please!
And our own beloved Bucks? QB struggled at the end of the season and top RB wasn't healthy for much of the season.
And DTs were a weakness all season.
