Yep, it was hot... but not as bad as I was expecting (given Tressel's "130 degree" comment, and the 97 temps outside). Other than midday with direct overhead sun, the very low field is fairly shaded, making it more bearable.

I can say that I don't ever remember a football team, tOSU, looking this fit. From one position to the next this team looks ready to play. Have to give the strength and conditioning program a lot of kudo's and the players for buying into it and working hard.

I give Soloman credit.. he's posing in a lot of pics with Vern.. takes a lot of guts to pose with a guy who's as ripped as Gholston.. especially if you're a frosh who hasnt been in the weight training program all that long..
