These hit the news stands today. Someone apparently thought removing the face masks was a quaint idea.

Are they still doing that? I thought that went out back in the 80's. I still remember an old S&S yearbook I had back in 1979 that had a goofy Mark Hermann "no facemask" picture on it. Pretty funny stuff.

I'm not so sure - I think Ainge (no chinstrap) and McCoy are the 2 worst-looking shots.

Seems odd to me that they only did this for some of the regional covers while others featuring Jimmy Clausen, Tim Tebow, Ray Rice, etc., are normal or helmet-less. It kinda makes the others look even sillier.
